Klarna is now live on Fidesmo Pay — across Europe and the United States

Klarna cardholders across Europe and the US can now add their card to a growing range of devices and pay with a tap, anywhere contactless payments are accepted. More markets and card programs are rolling out over the coming months, extending our reach even further. As Mattias Eld, CEO and Co-founder of Fidesmo, puts it: payments are becoming invisible — embedded in the devices people already wear and carry. Klarna is one of the most forward-thinking financial brands in the world, and this is exactly the kind of partnership that signals where the industry is heading.

But this launch is about more than one partnership. It marks a significant expansion of Fidesmo Pay’s global market presence — and reinforces something we’ve been saying to OEMs from day one: offering contactless payments no longer has to be a complex, time-consuming journey. What makes this go-live particularly meaningful is what it represents for the end consumer.
