Providing the tokenization payment service Fidesmo Pay, Fidesmo now enters the wearable payment market together with leading Swiss watch brand Mondaine. Fidesmo Pay enables payment cards from several banks to be securely tokenized onto the Mondaine PayChip™ 2.0, making it possible to tap and pay at any contactless payment terminal. Mondaine offers the PayChip™ 2.0 with Fidesmo Pay technology with numerous watch models from the Mondaine SBB and Mondaine Helvetica collections.
– Mondaine is very happy to offer the customers of various banks, among them Swiss banks, the Paychip in collaboration with Fidesmo. We chose Fidesmo as they are the most forward thinking provider in our view. The Mondaine paychip is unique, as it allows the consumers to easily remove the sim-card sized chip from the strap, insert it to the special loop so that it can be fitted to many other watches. Unlike all other watches which got the chip firmly built into the strap or watch, consumers now can have their contactless chip on the wrist, almost independently of the watch they feel like using, says Andre Bernheim, President of the Board of Mondaine Watch.
Fidesmo makes it possible to connect contactless services, such as payment, public transport tickets, office and hotel access and car keys, to a variety of devices, such as wearables, cards and phones. Providing a secure, constantly growing platform and a streamlined integration process, the Swedish tech company has earned the trust to work with the world leaders in access, payments, security and mobile devices. Fidesmo was founded in 2013 and has its headquarters in Stockholm and R&D offices in Madrid. Read more at fidesmo.com.

The station clock used by the SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways is a legendary piece of Swiss design. It tells the time at almost every station in Switzerland. In 1944, Hans Hilfiker, a Swiss Engineer and Designer and employee of the Federal Swiss Railways, created a clock, which has become known as the «Official Swiss Railways Clock». 1986 it made the leap from the station platform to the wrist. Present-day the Swiss family company is owned by the brothers André and Ronnie Bernheim and is headed by CEO Niels Møller. Mondaine counts around 120 employees.
